Our MidState Checkdown HS Football "Player of the Week" is Brooks Jones #11 MLB at Middle Tennessee Christian. Brooks Jones was a monster Friday night, with 23 tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. MTCS had their hands full stopping Friendship Christian's running attack - RB - Tyson Wolcott. Brooks Jones and MTCS defense held Friendship Christian under 160 yards rushing on the night. Brooks Jones is the 1st MLB to ever receive our MidState Checkdwon HS Football "Player of the Week" honors. It was crystal clear that Brooks Jones is the heart and soul of MTCS defense. His determination and grit are undeniable, he leads by example.
